To increase charging resilience during natural disasters, mobile and deployable EV charging alternatives are essential. We have been researching the advantages of a number of items that can power stranded EV drivers during a natural catastrophe or other emergency in order to serve our clients.

For a customer, we recently created a disaster preparedness strategy that calls for the usage of transportable and deployable EV charging technology. We also looked into more long-term options, such creating an island microgrid with nearby charging stations while still using a diesel generator to power EV equipment.
We discovered that every one of the various situations in which EV drivers needed a charge during an emergency called for a different kind of response. The deployment of some of the battery-based technologies mentioned above as well as diesel generators was the final step in our suggested strategy for EV charging resilience. Additionally, we urged the customer to think seriously about islanding a microgrid as a long-term fix. The client is doing additional research and will shortly start putting our advice into practise.
